Description

Based on the modification of ABS material, eSun ABS+ has higher mechanical properties, lower odor and lower shrinkage rate than conventional ABS materials.

With high toughness and high impact resistance, ABS+ can be used to print sturdy and durable parts; low VOC volatile content, low odor during printing, comfortable printing without pressure; low shrinkage, not easy to warp and crack during printing.

ABS+ Features:

  • 【ABS+ Filament】ABS+ is an enhanced version of Ordinary ABS, cracking and warping has been significantly improved when printing large-size items. It has high strength, better toughness, excellent impact strength, wear resistance and heat resistance.
  • 【Stable Dimensional Tolerance】Minimum tolerance and low warping to ensure consistent feeding and stable prints, good layer bonding, less stringing, no bubbles, no cracking, easy handling, resulting in an outstanding surface finish and are highly precise.
  • 【Tangle Free & No Plugging】Total Length: 410-425m. Full 1KG 3D printer filament reel, perfect roundness and very tight diameter tolerance, good winding, does not overlap or tangle. Melt well, feed smoothly and constantly without clogging the nozzle or extruder.
  • 【High Compatibility】Strong and durable ABS+ filament is engineering thermoplastic. Suitable for printing parts with higher requirements for resistance to heat, such as industrial machinery parts, model machinery, electronic appliances and instrumentation.
  • 【Vacuumed Sealed Packaging】Filament Net Weight: 1KG. eSUN filament comes in a sealed vacuum bag with a desiccant bag, easily keep your 3D printer filaments at an optimal storage condition and free from dust or dirt before opening the vacuumed sealed packaging.

Performance:Indeterminant, may vary with from User to User\nBest Feature(s):5/5 next day delivery, good colour selection, nice matt finish\nValue For Money:Great value if you know how to calibrate your printer to make this filament work\n\nBuyers should be advised that it will take some tweaking to get this filament going.\n\nUpon my first print, I found that the layer adhesion was terrible using generic ABS filament settings. My first print was a Stealthburner face plate, and while the finish was impeccable; the part crumbled like a cookie when I pulled it off the build plate. Layers along the z delaminated easily, and there were many voids within the same layer as if the hotend was under-extruding. Part was simply not functional.\n\nOnline searches will yield that many Users encounter such problems with Esun ABS+, although some commented that they managed to make the filament work by pushing the filament settings to the max. \n\nSo I ran calibration on the extruder temperature and flow, and did several test prints that expended quite some material; but I may have settled on settings that produced acceptable parts.\n\nBasically, buyers have to be ready to run this on the high end of the manufacturer's recommendation, i.e. Nozzle temperature @ 270° Celsius and bed temperature @ 90° to 100° Celsius. Flow should also be increased to reduce voids within the same layer, but this has caused a marginal decrease in part finish in my experience.\n\nMy latest print at the time of writing was within acceptable level of part finish and strength such that I could rate this at 4 stars (could have been 5 stars if not for the time and material taken to make it work). Delivery was crazy fast (5 stars for sure, next day delivery, I couldn't believe it myself), and the range of colours available is really good considering the price (if MakerSupplies continue to stock these, I'll never buy PLA again).\n\nI'll continue to make more parts using this filament, and if the outcome is consistent and functional, I'll definitely get more.
