Description
ESP-EYE is a development board for image recognition and speech signal processing, on which it integrates an on-board ESP32 chip, a 2 megapixel camera, and a digital microphone, 8MByte PSRAM and 4MByte flash. The board also supports image transmission via Wi-Fi and debugging through a Micro-USB port.
What’s more, there is a complete AIoT solution for the product, including the ESP-EYE development board, ESP-WHO AI frameworks, and ESP-IDF software SDK, which enables users to explore the benefits of combining of AI technology and IoT applications.
ESP-WHO is a face detection and recognition development framework designed for AIoT applications. Combining with the ESP-EYE development board, or other ESP32-based development board, then by adding only a few peripherals, such as camera and screens, you can easily build a complete AIoT application.
ESP-EYE supports firmware burning with a Windows or Linux PC, also you can use a Raspberry Pi to develop projects based on this board. For instance, use ESP-WHO to realize face detection and recognition, after burning firmware for ESP-EYE with Windows or Raspberry Pi, you can use mobile device to connect the board’s WIFI to transmit image or detect face.
